
Free at-home COVID-19 tests will be handed out during a pau hana drive-thru distribution from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the War Memorial Complex in Wailuku, the county announced.
Participants should enter Kanaloa Drive from Kahului Beach Road and turn right at the entrance to Maehara Baseball Stadium (left turns are prohibited).
Volunteers from Malama I Ke Ola and Maui County will deliver up to six free tests per vehicle. No walk-ups will be served, and drivers are asked to wear face masks and exit onto Kanaloa Drive near baseball field No. 3.
Mayor Michael Victorino said that the county ordered nearly 200,000 at-home test kits due to the contagious nature of the latest subvariants of omicron.
